Herb founded Lighthouse in 2001 at the age of 20, and since that time he has spearheaded Lighthouse’s growth, as the firm has become a leader in renewable energy, commercial and healthcare industry projects throughout Greater Boston and eastern Massachusetts. Herb considers renewable technologies, and solar in particular, to be “the future of the industry.” Since its incorporation in 2002, Lighthouse Electrical has handled thousands of electrical construction projects, more than 200 photovoltaic system installations and 15 wind energy projects. Herb received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103.
Justin Aikens, Foreman
Justin brings 20 years of hands-on electrical industry experience to the company. Working on such innovatively engineered projects as Boston’s Shriner’s Hospital and Foxboro’s Gillette Stadium has provided Justin with the versatility, skills and competence to handle complex and demanding electrical, wind and solar energy projects for Lighthouse Electrical. Justin received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103.
Scott Bennett, Foreman Scott’s 20 years of experience as an electrician working on diverse projects has made him a great asset to Lighthouse Electrical. His strong organizational skills and attention to detail has resulted in his effective management of some of Lighthouse’s most demanding, tightly budgeted and aggressively scheduled projects. With practical experience in all aspects of the business Scott is able to apply his skills to Lighthouse’s solar installations, as well running many of our largest electrical projects. Scott received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103 and holds a Master Electrician license in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire as well as a Hoisting Engineer license in Massachusetts.
Ned Chaney, Project Manager Ned brings 10 years of experience in operations, project management, finance, and procurement to Lighthouse Electrical Contracting, Inc. Prior to joining Lighthouse, Ned was the Director of Program Management for a renewable energy developer and project finance company where he was responsible for the project life cycle, from development to commissioning. He has also served as the Business Director at an Engineering, Procurement and Construction company, where he provided project management of large solar energy construction projects nationwide. Ned earned an MBA from Bentley College and a BS in business administration from Boston College. He also holds a Construction Supervisor License in the State of Massachusetts
Paul Kane, Outside Supervisor
With 21 years of experience in the business, Paul Kane has the expertise required to adeptly handle any project that Lighthouse Electrical undertakes. His knowledge in the field, organizational skills, professional attitude, and dedication to each project are immeasurable assets to the company. Paul holds an electrical engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103. He also holds a Master Electricians license in Massachusetts.
Bill Norcott, Foreman
In the 26 years that Bill has been an electrician, 22 of those years have been spent running electrical projects of varying sizes and complexities. His diverse project experience includes new, ground up construction, biotech projects, and commercial fit-up projects, as well as renewable energy projects. Bill attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103.

David has worked in the Greater Boston electrical construction industry since 1984, having earned his Journeyman and Master Electrician license from I.B.E.W. Local 80 in Virginia. His 30 plus years of knowledge and experience in electrical contracting has enabled him to successfully execute his responsibilities at Lighthouse Electrical in complex, rapidly developing project environments. Through his extensive professional background in electrical construction, David provides invaluable insight into design, layout, and the planning of schedules, especially on time and price-sensitive projects.

With over 30 years of experience in construction administration, marketing, finance, and management, both on the general contracting and subcontractor sides of the business, Ivy has a well-rounded, practical understanding of the needs of the general contractor and the client. Her background in the industry, coupled with her strong interpersonal skills makes Ivy extremely valuable to the management and growth of Lighthouse.
Kenny Grant, Foreman With 15 years of experience as a Journeyman electrician, Kenny brings a wealth of knowledge to Lighthouse Electrical. He has a proven track record of success and has run some of the larger, more complicated projects that the company has completed. Kenny has experience on projects that range from large retail stores to tenant fit-up projects. His experience enables him to adapt to ever-changing project requirements and he is adept at keeping projects on track. Kenny received his Journeyman license from I.B.E.W. Local 103.
Chad Wilkins, Foreman Chad brings 24 years of diverse experience to the Lighthouse team. He has the skills, knowledge, and ability to effectively run any project. He has worked on tenant fit-up projects of all sizes in Boston and the surrounding area. Chad’s success as a foreman can be attributed to his planning and leadership skills, as well as his consistently positive attitude during the day-to-day operations of the job. He received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103 and holds a Master Electrican license in the State of Massachusetts.
Rich Carney, Foreman Rich brings 35 years of experience in the electrical construction industry in Greater Boston to Lighthouse Electrical. While with Lighthouse, he has been instrumental in helping grow the medical side of the business, running work at many of the hospitals in Boston. Rich’s leadership and understanding of the business is the reason that he is entrusted with complicated projects, and he is consistently able to deliver them on time and on budget. Rich received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103.
Tony Turecki, Foreman Tony joined Lighthouse with15 years of experience in the electrical industry. His understanding of technical projects has proven to be a great asset to the company. While at Lighthouse he has run many tenant fit-up, fire alarm upgrade and solar projects. He has worked on projects for one of the largest retailers in the country, as well as for biotech and large corporate clients throughout the Boston area. Tony is able to bring projects that are time-sensitive to completion on time and on budget while working through the most demanding conditions. He received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103 and holds a Master Electrician license and Hoisting Engineer license in the State of Massachusetts.
Ron Lapido, Tel/Data Foreman Ron has 21 years of experience in the telecommunication industry in the New England region that he brings to Lighthouse’s Tel/Data division. He has a diverse background in the field, both as a technician and foreman, as well as being instrumental in the growth of one of the largest Tel/Data divisions in the Boston area. He has also been the New England sales manager for a major national hardware manufacturer. At Lighthouse, Ron is responsible for the development and management of all Tel/Data projects. He received his technician status from I.B.E.W Local 103.
Matt Baldock, Foreman Matt has 16 years of experience in Greater Boston electrical construction and brings that knowledge to the Lighthouse Electrical team. Matt has a very diverse background, having worked on many different types of projects, including new construction, tenant fit-up, solar and electrical service projects. This experience enables Matt to undertake any project and successfully deliver it. Matt received his Journeyman status from I.B.E.W. Local 103.
